The hostel is very centrally located and has great facilities & is very clean. Feels like a hotel though, most people stay in groups, so not very social for solo travellers. Free breakfast is a plus though!

Location was awesome for the price. 15 min walk away from interlaken ost and 10 min by bus if you’re carrying luggages. Nice view from the terrace. Showers and toilets were pretty clean.

I recently spent a few days at this hostel and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, particularly the receptionist Verena , she greets guests with a warm smile and provides clear guidance on places to visit in Interlaken city . She is undoubtedly the right person in the right rôle . The hostel itself is spotless, with well- maintained bathrooms and a fully équipped kitchen that allows guests to prepare their own meals with ease. best hostel in city

Staff is super kind!! Free towel, locker (with lock), breakfast, and bus ticket during your stay so value is amazing. Theres also balconies and outside seating. If you’re staying in a dorm; be ready to be woken up though. No curtains, and everyone is up at 5-7am for activities so if you’re a light sleeper you may get woken up repeatedly. Room was also quite tight so it needed to be aired out a bit.

I had an absolutely wonderful time with backpackers villa, the staff was absolutely wonderful and their rooms were very nice. I was happy with how seriously they take cleanliness with rooms being cleaned every morning with the trash being taken out.
