Support Housekeeping

You make beds, clean showers and public rooms, and give a hand where ever needed.

You work 3-5 days a week including weekends. Working hours start at 9:30am and you stay until all work is done, usually about 3pm.

As a hostel we have many bunk beds. If you are fit and a hard worker, happy to do parts of your workout during working hours, this might be just the job for you.

For our team we look for upbeat people who like to serve both guests and collegues alike with a positive attitude and friendly nature.
Some German or good English is essential for this job.

Liebst du Begegnungen mit Menschen aus aller Welt und freust dich auf eine neue spannende Herausforderung? In der «Villa unter den Herbergen» im Herzen von Interlaken suchen wir aufgestellte Persönlichkeiten, welche uns darin unterstützen, täglich bis zu 200 Gäste (Einzelreisende und Familien) aus aller Welt gut zu beherbergen und ihnen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in der Jungfrau-Region zu ermöglichen.

Für dich ist es kein Problem, an Wochenenden und in den Schulferienzeiten zu arbeiten. Du schätzt es, wenn du unter der Woche frei hast und in den Nebensaisonzeiten auf Reisen gehen kannst (dann sind auch längere, ggf. unbezahlte Ferienzeiten möglich).

Die Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof ist ein selbständiges Werk der Evangelisch-methodistischen Kirche (EMK) und es ist uns wichtig, dass du unsere Werte gemäss des Slogans der weltweiten EMK «Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors» mittragen kannst.
