We stayed here for a week with our two girls, aged 8 and 9. This was the most wonderful, clean and safe and friendly hostel we have stayed in. We would highly recommend it to families and would definitely come and stay again. Interlaken is such a great base to explore the Jungfrau region, we wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much to all the friendly staff, especially the lovely lady who is going to Tasmania at the end of the year. |

Ich war mit meiner Tochter auf dem Jakobsweg unterwegs und sind in Interlaken sehr gut bei Ihnen untergekommen. Das Personal war überzeugend und freundlich, das Haus selbst sehr schön. Das Frühstück war vielleicht etwas einseitig aber wir wurden natürlich satt. Es gefiel uns weniger, das es vor allem in der Nacht und am Morgen sehr laut war, in erster Linie auf dem Gang. Es wurden sehr viele Türen geschlagen. Trotzdem: Wir werden die Villa Sonnenschein weiterempfehlen! |

Me aloje una noche en Villa Interlaken y alli encontre todo lo que necesitaba. Personal atento, posibilidad de cocinar, jardin+mesas en el exterior, desayuno, ordenadores+acceso internet, sabanas+toalla, buena ubicacion, taquillas, etc. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar. |

Hallo!
Wir waren auch diesmal sehr zufrieden, als wir die Nacht bei euch verbracht haben:-) Zu unserer Überraschung haben wir sogar statt eines 6-Bett-Zimmers ein 4-Bett-Zimmer zum selben Preis bekommen (wir waren zu Viert).
Euer Haus ist super sauber und auch sonst total ansprechend und das Personal voll freundlich.
Man kann sich also bei euch sehr wohlfühlen, vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder:-)

Nice staff, excellent facilities, me and my family really enyojed our 2-days staying. Definitely one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed in my 20+ years backpacking career, would highly recommend :-) |

last July i stayed at your hostel for the 3rd time and had a great time, thank you for running such a great place the way you do.the staff is helpfull and friendly, the situation near everythin and the great view of the park and the Jungfrau! I love the modern contemporary decoration of the lobby, breakfast buffet is delicious, and I specially appreciate going to the swuimning pool near by which is free withe the guest card.
I'm looking forward for my next visit

- 런던과 파리를 거쳐 도착한 이곳에서 무엇보다 좋았던건 그간 두명씩 떨어져서 잠을 잤던 우리가족 4명 모두가 한방에 뒤엉켜 잘 수 있었다는 점이지요. 4인실에서 함께 보내며 아이들과 여행에 대한, 가족과 자신에 대한 많은 이야기를 할 수 있었다는 점이 너무나 좋았습니다. 더구나 오른쪽과 왼쪽에는 동역과 서역이 있고 뒤편으로는 융흐라우가 병풍처럼 자리하고 있으며 앞쪽으로 나가면 한국식당 강촌이 있어서 오랜 여행에 지친 아이들에게 김치찌개로 피로를 풀어주었습니다. 아울러 지하에는 음식을 해 먹을 수 있는 주방이 설치되어 있어서 우리는 한국에서 준비해갔던 컵라면(지퍼백에 담아감)을 끓여먹고, 전자랜지에 햇반을 데워 김가루에 버물여 먹었는데 그야말로 꿀맛이였지요. 이곳에서 제공되는 코인으로 세탁기와 건조기를 무료로 이용할 수 있었기에 그간 밀린 빨래까지 해결하고 돌아가게 되어 무척 고마웠습니다. 우리가족을 감동시켰던 일중에 이곳 주변을 오가는 모든 차량들은 지나다니는 사람들을 보면 먼 곳에서든 가까운 곳에서든 우선 멈추어 선다는 사실이였으니 관광대국 스위스의 따뜻한 배려에 또한 감사했었지요. 세계 각국의 여행객들이 스위스를 빼놓지 않고 들렸다 가는 이유를 몸으로 느끼고 돌아왔습니다. |

We stayed in the Backpacker's Villa just last week and really enjoyed it. This place is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Definitely worth the extra cost. The staff is very friendly too! Their kitchen was very large so that lots of people could cook at the same time. We would recommend staying here if you are in the Interlaken area. |

We had a fantastic time during our stay of 3 nights in July 2011.
We found the standard of accommodation and cleanliness was superb; the breakfast and kitchen facilities were excellent. We also stayed in 4 star hotels during our trip to Europe, and the helpfulness of the staff at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof was the best we experienced on the whole trip, as was the view from our family room, with a balcony overlooking the snow-topped mountains behind Interlaken.
We would heartily recommend the hostel to anyone wanting great self-catering facilities within a friendly environment in Interlaken. |

Stayed in June with our family of 4,it was great, especially for our first backpackers accom'n. Clean, helpful staff, great location, good value.Would recommend to everyone, give it a go! |
